Diversified Tree Company LLC is owner-operated, Black-owned and family-focused, run by Jason Lewis out of a yard on Paris Avenue in south Grand Rapids. For over a decade — with — we've handled the jobs that make homeowners nervous: storm-torn oaks hanging over a roofline, century maples with a split union, dead ash that nobody wants to be standing under when it finally goes.
Moline sits south of the city in Dorr Township, and the tree work out here looks different than it does downtown. Open farmland means wind hits windbreak rows and yard trees from every direction. Long driveways and outbuildings give us room to work but also give a falling top somewhere expensive to land. Older farmsteads tend to have one or two signature trees the family has watched grow — those are worth an honest assessment before anyone reaches for a saw.
That assessment is free, and it's the same one we'd give a neighbor. Sometimes the answer is removal. Often it's a structural prune, or a cable through a weak union so a valuable tree stays standing instead of ending up as chips.

Everything below is done by our own people and our own equipment — residential and commercial, in Moline and across the metro.

- Stump Grinding — ground below grade, chips hauled or backfilled, the spot left replant-ready with no tripping hazard and no pest habitat.
- Emergency Tree Service — storm response for fallen trees, blocked driveways and roof-threatening limbs, with documentation for insurance claims.
- Lot Clearing — full-lot or partial clearing for construction, expansion or overgrowth; brush, trees and debris responsibly disposed of.
- Bracing & Cabling — structural support systems that preserve split-prone trees instead of removing them.
- Firewood — seasoned hardwood, pickup at our Paris Ave yard or delivered. Call for current stock and pricing.
- Snow Plowing — seasonal residential and commercial plowing; driveways, lots and walkways cleared all winter.
- Curbside Leaf Pickup — rake it to the curb in loose piles and we collect and haul it away.
Jason answers the phone at 3 a.m.
We're open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and that isn't a marketing line. When a limb comes through a porch roof on Christmas morning, the phone gets answered. Storm response is a core service here, not an upsell tacked onto a bill. From the Paris Ave SE yard, most of the metro is within 20 minutes in normal conditions, and Moline is a straight run south from there.
