Storm costs, insurance paperwork and what happens next
Emergency work happens in two phases. Phase one, on that same visit, makes the property safe: the tree comes off the structure, the driveway opens, the hazard comes down. Phase two is scheduled promptly afterward and handles the rest — bucking and hauling the trunk, grinding the stump 6–12 inches below grade, and looking over the neighboring trees that took the same wind.
